One more thing that sets ATH apart from the rest: Combination Therapies. Whether you're getting an IV for micronutrition, purely hydration or for an acute illness, you can combine it with a facial service or an OMT session.

At Alive and Thriving Healthcare, we cross train so that Aesthetic and Medical providers have an understanding of what each person does. This allows us to combine different therapies to give you the best possible outcome.
IV therapy can be combined with:
- Facials, Peels, Microneedling
- Facial, neck, décolleté massage
- Facial lymphatic drainage
- OMT for acute muscle strain/pain
- OMT for sinusitis
- OMT for constipation
But is it safe?
At Alive and Thriving Healthcare, we know that there are critics of Med Spa IV therapy... and so are we! There is no regulation of IV therapy or over site in Virginia. We checked. Here is how we keep it as safe as possible and the integrity of our professions intact:
- Every person receiving IV or IM therapy is treated as a patient
- A Board Certified Physician or Nurse Practitioner obtains a health history prior to administration
- Orders are written for each drip and/or medication
- ATH follows the US Pharmacopeia guidelines regarding compounding (USP797, USP800)
- Patients will be told "no" if they request a drip/medication that is contraindicated, potentially harmful or of absolutely no benefit to them
- ATH's staff has undergone additional training hours in regards to IV micronutrition
- Experience. There is a lot of it at ATH.
