In regards to weight loss medication, instead of coming weekly to the clinic, patients have the medication sent directly to their home and pay the pharmacy directly. Clinic appointments are treated as separate visits. More on this under our Membership information page.

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor antagonists. You may have heard of them as GLP-1's. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone, released in the gut in response to eating. It also works on the brain to release the response trigger the feeling of being full.

Semaglutide is a titrated medication. This means that the dosage is started low and increased in increments. Everyone starts the first 4 weeks at 0.25 mg. Starting at week 5, the medication is adjusted based on YOUR body, response and needs.
